Community Organisations & Links

The Cowan Community Co-op focuses on two main objectives:
  • promoting a sustainable Cowan community, including sustainable electricity usage and generation,
  • and serving as a model for cooperative, inclusive, and successful community-driven projects.
To achieve these goals, the Co-op operates the Community Power Club. If you are a resident of or property owner in Cowan and would like to join the Co-op please complete the Co-op Registration form or for more information use the Contact Us page.

The Community Power Club was established by Cowan Community Co-op to promote the use of renewable energy.

The NSW RFS - Cowan Rural Fire Brigade is a community based Fire Service operating within the Hornsby Kur-ing-Gai.
